SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIAL IMPACT
GREEN EDGE 2030®: FOCUSING ON SUSTAINABLE GROWTH
We are fortunate to be part of a regenerative, closed-loop industry, but we are committed to doing more and better by making sustainability and social engagement the cornerstones of our growth. Through a program of upgrades and new investments called “Green Edge 2030®,” we aim to reduce our carbon footprint and increase the use of renewable energies, expand recycling, develop eco-designed products, and strengthen CSR. Our progress can be viewed at the EcoVadis CSR rating agency. We have already undertaken several initiatives under the following headings:
- In addition to recovering all of our production waste on site, we have deployed an extensive national infrastructure for the recovery and recycling of PCR.
- Our wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) now treat, as a recent achievement, even the sludge that is redirected for fertilization.
The entire journey of our waste and waste products is recorded in a verifiable traceability system documented in the ISO 14001 directory. - The promotion of carbon-free energy with the gradual widespread use of photovoltaic electricity for lighting and, if technological progress allows, power generation.
- Paper, an essential input in our process, is sourced exclusively from FSC-certified producers.
The ring-fencing of an annual subsidy to civil society for the financing of reforestation actions, as part of an educational awareness-raising approach that we have always supported.
Convinced that a company cannot be a disembodied alignment of machinery, we place the promotion of people at the heart of our future. - This conviction is reflected in our commitment to continuing education, strict compliance with labor laws, the distributive nature of the company, freedom of association, and the pursuit of best practices in gender equality.
We are committed, along with our customers, with strength and conviction, to the universal movement toward greater circularity and social responsibility.
